TYTY Kashmiri Lavender Oil is a concentrated high-quality essential oil that is extracted from the Lavandula angustifolia plant grown in the high-altitude region of Kashmir in India. The region's ideal growing conditions, including the fertile soil, cool climate, and plentiful sunshine, contribute to the plant's high quality and aromatic properties. The lavender is grown organically and harvested by hand during the flowering season, which typically occurs between July and September.

Kashmiri lavender oil is a type of essential oil derived from the flowers of the lavender plant, which is native to the Mediterranean region. However, the history of the use of lavender oil in the Kashmir region of India dates back over 2,500 years.

The ancient Kashmiri healing system, known as Ayurveda, has long recognized the therapeutic benefits of lavender oil for both physical and mental health. Lavender oil was used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to treat a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, digestive problems, and skin disorders.

Storage:

Here are some tips on how to store this at home:

  • Keep them in a cool, dark place: Essential oils are sensitive to heat and light, which can cause them to degrade and lose their therapeutic properties. Store them in a cool, dark place, such as a cabinet or drawer, away from direct sunlight or any heat sources like radiators or stoves.
  • Use dark glass bottles: Essential oils should be stored in dark glass bottles, such as amber or cobalt blue, to protect them from UV light. UV rays can accelerate the oxidation process and deteriorate the oils. Avoid using plastic containers, as essential oils can interact with certain plastics and degrade their quality.
  • Keep the lids tightly sealed: Ensure that the lids of the essential oil bottles are tightly sealed after each use. This helps to prevent air exposure and oxidation, which can lead to a loss of potency and aroma.
  • Avoid extreme temperature changes: Keep essential oils away from extreme temperature fluctuations. Avoid storing them in areas that are subject to frequent temperature changes, such as near windows or doors. Excessive heat or cold can alter the chemical composition of the oils and diminish their effectiveness.
  • Separate from strong odors: Essential oils are highly concentrated and can easily absorb odors from their surroundings. To preserve their original scent, store them separately from strong-smelling substances like cleaning agents, perfumes, or spices.
